Bourbon-Kissed Strawberry Crunch

Time: 1 Hour
Servings: 8 servings
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Ingredients
● 6 C Strawberries, fresh or frozen, halved
● 1/2 C Strawberry Jam
● 2 T Maple Syrup
● 2 T Cornstarch
● 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
● 3 T Bourbon
● 2 tsp Vanilla
Topping
● 1 C AP Flour
● 1/2 C Old Fashioned Oats
● 2 T Brown Sugar
● 1 tsp Cinnamon
● 1/4 tsp Salt
● 12 T (1 1/2 sticks) Salted Butter, cold & cubed
● 4 T Maple Syrup
Instructions
Toss together strawberries, strawberry jam, maple, cornstarch, cinnamon, bourbon, and vanilla in a large bowl.
Spread the fruit out into a 10-12 inch baking dish.
Topping
○ Combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
○ Add 8 tablespoons butter and cut the butter into the dry ingredients using a fork or pastry cutter.
○ Sprinkle over the fruit.
Cover with lid or foil.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the crisp from the oven.
Remove the lid or foil.
Arrange 4 tablespoons butter evenly on top.
Drizzle the maple syrup over the butter.
Bake for another 20-30 minutes.
Let cool for 20-30 minutes.
Serve with cold vanilla ice cream.
Go Rogue by replacing one cup of Strawberries with one cup of Rhubarb. This will give it a little tart taste.
