Early Morning: Target shallow areas from daybreak until around 10:00 AM. Throw topwater lures like buzzbaits or Whopper Ploppers parallel to the banks where summer runoff keeps fish active.

Mid-Day Drop: As the sun rises, bass transition deeper. Target main lake points, bluff ends, and brush piles at 20 to 30 feet using ribbon tail worms, jigs, creature baits, or a drop shot.

Spotted Bass Note: The lake has an exceptionally high abundance of spotted bass this season, making them highly active along rocky banks on medium-diving crankbaits.
